Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary The licensed pharmacy technician may work in various settings. Hospital, Retail and Ambulatory Infusion Clinics. Additionally, the pharmacy technician may specialize in a certain skill set, such as pharmacy buyer/inventory specialist, automation technician, IV room sterile processing technician, IV chemotherapy technician and medication reconciliation technician. The job duties assigned will be aligned to the technician and pharmacy supervisor or directors agreed upon work assignment. The pharmacy technician may be assigned to a variety of settings and/or skill sets. Note: The pharmacy technicians in physician based Ambulatory clinics are not required to be licensed by the State Board of Pharmacy however, HonorHealth policy requires all technicians to be licensed to allow for floating, cross coverage and flexibility in various pharmacy practice settings.
