The Advanced Practice Nurse will join an established practice and provide comprehensive urologic care to patients. The APN will work in close collaboration with the collaborating physician but will maintain a high degree of clinical independence in patient evaluation, management, and procedural care. Overview: Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and recurrent urinary tract infections. Perform comprehensive gynecologic and pelvic examinations. Conduct pelvic organ prolapse quantification (POP‑Q) assessments. Fit, insert, remove, and maintain pessaries; provide ongoing pessary care and troubleshooting. Manage non‑surgical incontinence therapies and behavioral treatment plans. Perform cystometric studies and assist in the evaluation of lower urinary tract function. Conduct urodynamic testing and interpret results in collaboration with the physician. Administer percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) for overactive bladder management. Assist with pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative monitoring, including wound evaluation, symptom assessment, and recovery guidance. Work closely with the team to coordinate patient care plans and ensure continuity across visits and procedures.
