About The Position
The position involves examining patients and performing initial work-ups and assessments of their care and treatment. The role includes diagnosing diseases, illnesses, disorders, or injuries, and instituting treatment plans for patients. The individual will provide primary care and preventive services, evaluate the total health care needs of patients, and develop personalized care plans. Responsibilities also include ordering laboratory tests and X-rays, arranging for physician or specialty consultations, and providing emergency services or crisis interventions in the absence of a physician. Advanced assessment skills are utilized to identify patient care problems and formulate plans to meet patient care needs, with continual revisions based on changes in patient status.
