About The Position

The Advanced Practice Manager 1-PCS Nurse Practitioners at UC Davis Health is responsible for managing advanced practice operations within a specific area of care. Requirements

  • Possession of valid California RN and Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner license, or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
  • Furnishing license if Nurse Practitioner DEA within 3 months of hire.
  • National Board Certification in aligned specialty.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or UC Davis Health CPR certification.
  • Graduation with a master's degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, or graduation with a master's degree or PhD from an accredited PA school.
  • Two years or greater experience working as a clinical leader in a position with direct reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong operational skills and self-direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • One year or greater recent clinical experience in specialty care of the hiring department.

Responsibilities

  • Manage advanced practice operations for a specific area of care.

  • Collaborate with senior managers to develop and integrate advanced practice functions across specialties.
