About The Position

ChristianaCare is currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team to support new growth in Sussex County, DE while also serving an established patient base. This position is 100% subspecialty work in Urogynecology with no general gynecology or primary care. We are offering the opportunity to work independently at a satellite location, supported by a collaborative team and robust infrastructure. ChristianaCare’s Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Surgery is a high-volume, well-established outpatient practice with a long-standing history of excellence in the community. The practice is staffed by three experienced surgeons, two experienced advanced practice providers, and three continence nurses, offering a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. Requirements

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware
  • Certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., Women’s Health, Family Medicine)
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA registration (or eligibility)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Urogynecology, Women’s Health, or Urology
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a patient panel

Responsibilities

  • Independently evaluate and manage patients with pelvic floor disorders including: - Urinary incontinence - Pelvic organ prolapse - Overactive bladder - Fecal incontinence - Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Provide patient education and counseling
  • Assess patients for potential surgical referral and coordinate with the surgical team as needed
  • Lead care delivery at a new outpatient site
  • Travel to other locations may be required for training or collaboration
