About The Position

We are offering a 12-month postgraduate fellowship program for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in Psychiatry with a targeted start date of June 2026. The HealthPartners Psychiatry Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship engages APC learners in extensive training within Psychiatry, as well as required rotations in specialty areas deemed essential for proficiency. Responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, formulating an assessment and plan, and providing recommended treatments. The APC fellow will be based primarily at Regions. Didactic sessions compliment the diverse rotations and hands on experiences, offering APC Fellows the opportunity to develop clinical competence, critical thinking skills, and interprofessional collaboration. This allows APCs to successfully integrate into the specialty of Psychiatry at an accelerated rate compared with on-the-job training. At HealthPartners, you will find a warm, diverse group of people who are committed to helping our patients – and each other. We foster an inclusive environment that encourages new ways of thinking, celebrates differences, and recognizes hard work. We’re also committed to living our values. This means you can expect us to be your partner and treat you with dignity and respect. Join our team and make good happen! At HealthPartners we believe in the power of good – good deeds and good people working together. As part of our team, you’ll find an inclusive environment that encourages new ways of thinking, celebrates differences, and recognizes hard work. We’re a nonprofit, integrated health care organization, providing health insurance in six states and high-quality care at more than 90 locations, including hospitals and clinics in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We bring together research and education through HealthPartners Institute, training medical professionals across the region and conducting innovative research that improve lives around the world. At HealthPartners, everyone is welcome, included and valued.
