About The Position

LEOMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS LEOMINSTER HIGH SCHOOL INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY AP SUMMER INSTITUTE TEACHERS LHS is offering one-week review and preparation courses for students going into AP courses. The intent is to prepare students for the rigors of AP-level work and help them be successful in those courses. Teachers are sought for the review session the following courses: AP Calculus AP Biology AP Chemistry AP Language and Composition/Literature and Composition AP Physics AP Psychology AP World History AP Government AP Environmental Science AP Computer Science AP Seminar AP Spanish

Requirements

• Hold current DESE licensure in the subject area
• Familiarity with subject

Nice To Haves

• AP instruction experience preferred
• AP Institute attendance preferred
• Preference will be given to LHS teachers currently assigned to teach the course.

Responsibilities

• Provide refresher instruction in prerequisite content.
• Review content for the AP course, to include practice assignments and assessments to prepare for the course
• Provide strategies for success in AP courses.
