There are no limits to where you can take your career.The Advanced Operational Technology Lead will lead the Systems Integration (SI) team which is comprised of the Controls Engineering and SCADA Engineering disciplines. This position will prioritize the activities for the SI team, manage the team’s projects, provide a strategic direction for the company’s industrial equipment controls & data collection scheme, and manage the outside contractors who provide support services to the SI team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6 years of experience in an Operational Technology field (e.g. controls engineering, software engineering, SCADA engineering, manufacturing/industrial equipment system integration, etc.)
  • U.S. persons with ability to obtain a Department of Defense Security Clearance
  • Experience with supervisory/data acquisition platforms such as Wonderware™ or LabVIEW™
  • Experience with industrial controllers, PLC’s, and HMI’s such as Allen Bradley or CompactRIO (cRIO)
  • Understanding of local area networks (LAN) in a TCP/IP environment
  • Experience in a third-party regulated industry (e.g. AS9100, FAA, FDA, ISO, NIST, etc.)
  • Experience with leading, mentoring, and coaching teams and individuals
  • Software management, documentation, and control (e.g. access controls, preventing unwanted changes, revision control, customer approvals)
  • Ability to comprehend and translate technical specifications/manuals
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Project Management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document standards for the company’s industrial controls and data acquisition systems
  • Support the design and procurement of new capital equipment/expenditures (CAPEX)
  • Support the Operations Department through troubleshooting, repairing, and continuously improving the legacy/existing industrial control systems
  • Prioritize and manage projects for the Systems Integration team
  • Coordinate with and manage outside system integrators/contractors
  • Provide leadership and foster development for the SI team
