About The Position
The University of California, Irvine (UCI) is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible surgeon with a focus on foregut, bariatric, and hernia surgery, particularly with expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques. This role is part of the UCI Health Chao Digestive Health Institute, which is dedicated to providing exceptional care for gastrointestinal diseases. The institute is recognized for its advanced treatment options and commitment to patient-centered care, employing over 40 physicians and 100 healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of independent clinical practice experience and will be responsible for expanding clinical care at UCI Health community sites, building relationships with community physicians, and participating in shared ED call coverage with other surgeons.
