About The Position

As an acoustics engineer for our internal research and development group, you’ll be responsible for developing the next generation of sensors for undersea monitoring applications. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Cross-discipline experience with electrical, mechanical, and acoustic engineering. Mechanical design experience using Solidworks or CREO. Modal and vibration analysis preferably in Ansys or COMSOL brand software tools. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves
