About The Position

As a mechanical engineer f or the Fleet Ballistic Missile Fire Control programs, you’ll be a Lead of a cross functional team responsible for Mechanical design, development, and insertion of high technology refreshes of electronics on board the submarine platform. You will also be expected to act as a stakeholder as part of a Product-oriented design and development activity. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
