About The Position

As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell Intelligrated, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge automation solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies will ensure that the products developed meet the highest standards of quality & reliability. You will be part of our Core Product Center of Excellence & you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid 3-2 work schedule. In this role, you will be a leader in the development of innovative electro-mechanical systems & components, ensuring they drive value to our customers while enhancing the overall performance & functionality of our products. You will be a part of a leader in the material handling industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design & development.
  • Proficient in Solid modelling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in mechanical analysis & simulation tools.
  • Experience with six sigma, product testing & validation processes.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person.

  • Knowledge of materials & manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in the development of conveyance & material handling equipment, from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements & specifications.
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, components & assemblies.
  • Support installation & aftermarket on customer deployments and issue resolution.
