St. Bernadette School: Advanced Math Teacher (Part-time or Full-time)
About The Position
St. Bernadette Catholic School is seeking a knowledgeable and mission-driven Advanced Math Teacher to join our growing middle school program for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers part-time or full-time flexibility depending on the candidate’s availability and expertise. As we continue expanding our middle school, we are looking for an educator who can inspire students in higher-level mathematics while supporting our mission to educate the whole child—mind, body, and soul—in an authentic Catholic environment. The Advanced Math Teacher will be responsible for teaching upper-level math courses, including Algebra, and fostering a classroom environment that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
Requirements
- Valid teaching license with the ability to teach Algebra
- Strong content knowledge in advanced mathematics
- Commitment to Catholic education and values
- Ability to pass BCI and FBI background checks
- Completion of (or willingness to complete) VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Appropriate state certification/license as required by the grade levels and subjects taught
- Religious Education certification as required by the diocese
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching middle school or high school math
- Ability to teach additional upper-level math courses
- Catholic, but not required
