We boldly go. This position has been designated as On-Site. Location: Onsite in Davidson, NC - $3500 relocation/housing stipend is provided prior to starting.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS/BA in an Engineering-major with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
• Available to work Full-time
• Ability to collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork
• Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Demonstrated leadership in campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc.
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively assemble equipment and prepare test scenarios
• Construct workbenches, racks, cages, lighting, etc.
• Complete mechanical, electrical, data and sensor connections for test equipment
• Validate test setup readiness with AMT workstream owners
• Perform tests of advanced manufacturing technologies
• Run tests to determine technology capabilities
• Gather test data in a structured format and perform baseline data analyses
• Pre- and post-process test materials and assess their performance against stated goals
• Document findings and observations from the test and test equipment
• Create initial drafts of technology standards, based on learned best practices and test results
• Operate and maintain equipment (e.g., 3D printers) to OEM specs
• Communicate observations and outcomes with test owners and other stakeholders
• Coordinate with other functional teams, such as Shipping, EHS, Procurement, and Facilities
