As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer , you will be part of the New Product Development Team as a voice of manufacturing, fixture development, and new process technologies development.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or other related field
  • 10-15 years of professional experience in a similar role required.
  • Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment
  • Proven Project Management experience
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Experience with NPD/NPIs
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo preferred
  • Proficient in GD&T, tolerance stack analysis, and drawing best practices

Nice To Haves

  • 15+ years of professional experience preferred
  • Technical knowledge of metalworking processes
  • 2D AutoCAD and schematic creation
  • Experience with robotic and automated cells
  • Capital equipment procurement experience

Responsibilities

  • Design advanced powered and manually clamped fixturing as need to support welding, machining, and assembly processes for all manufacturing plants
  • Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process improvements
  • Lead assigned capital equipment projects
  • Oversee tooling and equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations
  • DFMA analysis of both new and existing products
  • Develop process flows, initial line layouts, along with capacity and labor analysis for new product launches
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites
  • Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor and/or manager
  • Provide technical manufacturing feedback and support for new product development
  • Occasional travel required as needed to support project deployment
