Join a high-performing consulting team tackling one of the Department of War’s (DoW) most critical priorities: scaling an Advanced Manufacturing (AdvM) ecosystem that integrates allies, industry, and emerging technologies to deliver parts and weapon systems at the point of need, reinforcing readiness and deterrence. The Advanced Manufacturing Cybersecurity Senior Consultant will join advisory consultants and subject matter experts for Guidehouse AdvM capabilities, which includes research, development, and pilot demonstration for technologies that cover smart manufacturing, additive manufacturing, composites, highly conductive materials, cyber security for manufacturing, and materials for harsh service conditions. This Advanced Manufacturing Cybersecurity Specialist position will support the Guidehouse Technology Cybersecurity and Defense Segment in securing the AdvM supply chain. As a Senior Consultant in Guidehouse’s Technology Cybersecurity practice, you will lead day‑to‑day delivery for discrete workstreams, translating mission and business risk into pragmatic security outcomes. You’ll shape approach and work plans, produce client‑ready deliverables, coordinate with cross‑functional SMEs, and coach junior staff while driving execution across Zero Trust/ICAM and RMF-aligned assessments. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, ensuring decisions are informed by evidence, controls are right‑sized, and benefits are measurable from strategy through operations. You may support and/or lead workstreams executing tasks such as: Developing a regulatory/standards matrix tailored for manufacturing partners, OEM data, and coalition use cases and map requirements into a modular control framework aligned with Zero Trust principles. Defining a repeatable assessment method that works across a diverse ecosystem of government, OEM, and manufacturing partners. Drafting a Zero Trust reference architecture suited to distributed production and supply ecosystems that reflect OEM networks, engineering systems, and distributed operations. Define authoritative identity sources, credentialing standards, authentication protocols, role hierarchies, and segregation‑of‑duties mapped to operational roles/data. Beyond client delivery, Guidehouse expects Senior Consultants to strengthen the firm and our community through the following: Practice development: Contribute to building our brand through opportunity capture support, improving internal knowledge bases, and bringing innovation such as accelerators (assessment playbooks, control mappings, test scripts, templates). People leadership: Mentor and coach junior staff; support onboarding; provide timely feedback; and model Guidehouse consulting behaviors. Thought leadership: Draft blogs/white papers, present at client or community forums, and help curate internal learning on cybersecurity leading practices.
