Utilizing your fundamental knowledge of production activities, the Advanced Manufacturing Coach Associate will act as a lead/supervisor by coordinating the day-to-day workflow of subordinate nonexempt workers who put together component parts to make assemblies, subassemblies, packaging or completed units. You’ll review production schedules, material, and manpower resources in order to assign employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business or technical field or the equivalent experience is required.
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Solid leadership and supervisory skills
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written and coordination abilities
  • Solid proficiency in production scheduling and resource allocation
  • Ability to maintain detailed reports and documentation
  • Solid knowledge of operational methods, materials, equipment, and procedures
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and objectives
  • Solid computer skills
  • Solid ability to transfer knowledge and experience across product lines

Nice To Haves

  • prior production leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures training certifications are up to date for employees within the area of responsibility
  • Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedule
  • Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures
  • Reviews production schedules, material, and manpower resources to assign employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, and attain output requirements
  • Coordinates the day-to-day workflow of subordinate nonexempt workers who put together component parts to make assemblies, subassemblies, packaging, or completed units
  • Functions as a Lead/Supervisor of people
  • Interacts with Quality Personnel to ensure the area's quality objectives are met
  • Maintains a variety of reports, records, and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, etc
  • Ensures the employment, training, employee motivation, counseling, and performance management of employees supervised
  • Working hands on with Product on the manufacturing floor
