About The Position

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual to join as an Advanced Inverter Electrical Engineering Intern in our Summer Internship Program. This role will be involved with evaluation and testing of a next generation traction inverter including the power module, power supplies, and monitoring circuits among others.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
• Strong hardware design and analytical skills
• Experience designing high voltage circuits and power supplies
• Experience with high voltage testing is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Strong interpersonal skills required

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware testing & verification
• Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical and Software teams in problem solving activities
• Perform simulation and analysis of Power Electronics circuit blocks
