The Mission Module Logistics Support Technician will provide logistic support to field organizations and/or customers including spare or replacement parts and supplies. You’ll repair returned products and advise customers on types and amounts of equipment available. We’ll expect you to provide support to the logistics function, preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You’ll also modify maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS: This position is responsible for providing a full-range of administrative support to multiple managers and/or directors within a business functional area(s) The Administrator will manage multiple tasks to relieve management of administrative details and allow them to concentrate on other business activities The Administrator is expected to demonstrate poise, initiative, trustworthiness, timeliness, precision, and adherence to confidentiality at all times Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources Provides a full range of administrative support and performs a variety of administrative activities specifically in support of a business functional area(s) Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues Obtains data from various sources, analyzes data and information, and prepares reports for the business functional area as needed Drafts, proofreads, and finalizes written correspondence ensuring accuracy Enters, formats, and proofreads inputs into Excel Spreadsheets, Power-Point and Word documents Works on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment dealing with confidential/sensitive information Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures Reassigns computers to maintain accuracy of inventory records of department computers Logs requisitions for items such as hardware and software to audit monthly budget reports for accuracy Validates Monthly Project Reviews to requisitions and invoices; identifies duplications and incorrect entries Reports employee moves into vacant work spaces to Facilities by inputting to Computer Assisted Facilities Management (CAFM) system which is used to track particular building area data such as infrastructure and systems capacity (moving people only) in order to validate actual space availability, confirms department space assignments and allocations (budget), and identifies unoccupied space (resource utilization) Regularly surveys area for maintenance needs such as carpet spills, burned out light bulbs, chips out of walls, etc. and arranges for maintenance by submitting requests to facilities for work that will cost less than $5k at a facility Monitors charge number activities for accuracy Provides computers (leases), and other technology and devices by coordinating with Information Technology, Supply Chain Management in order to maximize productivity and manage costs Performs periodic audits of software assets within the business unit, as set forth in company policy, to ensure compliance with software licensing, acquisition, use, and maintenance of patches, upgrades, and configuration to security requirements in order to support various audits and accreditation activities Collaborates with others to improve processes and procedures Open to new ideas and can serve as a champion for change and acts to support change when directed from management Performs administrative support and secretarial activities Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit Compiles, reviews and analyzes data Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, time-lines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations May design processes to enhance work flow Develops procedures to ensure consistent work performance Contact with internal and external co-workers, managers, directors, and executives, executive staff, employees, and administrative staff; external customers Contacts are frequent with individuals representing outside organizations, and/or individuals of significant importance within the company Contacts involve planning and preparation of the communications, require skill, tact, persuasion and/or negotiation to accomplish the objectives of the communications Advanced or senior level position Candidate may be requested to travel 50% of time.
