As an Advanced Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced hardware solutions that meet the needs of our customers in innovative ways. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development of high-performance hardware systems that enhance the functionality and reliability of our products, ultimately leading to improved customer satisfaction and market competitiveness.   • Design and develop advanced hardware components and systems for various applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware solutions into larger systems.
  • Conduct testing and validation of hardware designs to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, systems, and components.
  • Proficiency in hardware design tools such as Altium Designer or similar.
  • Experience with embedded systems and programming languages such as C/C++.
  • Experience in product development lifecycle and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements (UL and NFPA).
