The physician will be working closely with GI fellows in providing inpatient and outpatient services in both hospital and outpatient office settings. Provides expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions. The Physician will be affiliated with all Acute Care Facilities and will take limited call coverage.

Requirements

M.D. from an accredited medical school
current board certification in gastroenterology with additional training in advanced endoscopic
NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
appropriate academic qualifications for appointment
experience in developing and leading clinical programs
a record of innovative and effective administrative experience
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
a demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse work environment
BC– Gastroenterology at the start of employment
Advanced Endoscopy skills including ERCP, EUS Required
Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
