The Advanced Field Service Engineer position at Honeywell International, Inc. involves performing configuration, implementation, and maintenance on customers' Distributed Control Systems. The role requires independent troubleshooting and problem-solving of complex system and process-related issues, as well as managing assigned accounts effectively and safely. The engineer will actively interface with customers, ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and feedback to management regarding technician performance and customer concerns.

  • Perform configuration, implementation, as well as Preventative, Corrective and Emergency maintenance on customer's Distributed Control Systems.
  • Assist with management of assigned accounts in a safe and cost effective manner.
  • Independently troubleshoot and solve complex system and process related problems.
  • Provide support for other accounts as required.
  • Provide feedback to manager of technician performance and any customer concerns.
  • Possess/develop comprehensive knowledge of entire product and services portfolio and routinely consult with both customer and field sales force.
  • Actively interface with customers at all levels.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.
  • Qualified applicants must have an Associate's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 8 years of engineering experience on Honeywell Distributed control systems in the refining industry.
  • Must possess 7 years of experience in the following: ability to lead migrations; ability to update Honeywell EKPS and TPS systems.
  • Must be Honeywell Certified on EKPS L3, and OPM L3 or TPS L3.
  • Up to 75% (daily travel and some overnight travel) domestic and international travel.
  • Employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of an Associate's degree.
