Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Associate’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Active DoD Secret Clearance (required at hire)
Minimum 3+ years in engineering technician or related role
Test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, diagnostic tools)
Electro-mechanical systems and prototype development
Data analysis and statistical testing methods
Engineering documentation and schematics interpretation
Computer-based test systems and engineering software

Responsibilities

Support design, fabrication, assembly, and test of prototype electro-mechanical systems, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams
Operate and utilize test and diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, automated test systems)
Troubleshoot, debug, calibrate, and modify complex systems and equipment
Conduct and document statistical experiments to define process parameters
Analyze data to identify root cause and process improvements
Design and build tooling and fixtures for unique engineering applications
Implement and document process improvements and technical solutions
