Working as a team, respond, treat, and react quickly and calmly to emergency and non-emergency situations in order to provide efficient and immediate, advanced and basic life support, care to the ill and injured. Ensure that during a shift that the assigned unit is properly equipped, stocked, and prepared to respond to a single or multiple patient incidents. Be responsible for schedules and coverage in the event that other personal is not available to cover a shift. Shift work requires a mixture of day, night, twenty-four hour and on call coverage to ensure adequate coverage for the service. The duties described herein are minimum standards and may be modified to meet the changing needs of Harris Health System at any time.
