About The Position

Description Key Responsibilities and Skills Collaborate with multiple engineering teams. Good organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work with suppliers on delivery and cost of electrical components. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to manage assigned resources to complete objectives on time. Perform specification review. Test plan development and execution. Create product documentation and training material. Knowledge of electrical codes. (NEC, NFPA79, UL508A) Plan, manage and execute project deliverables with little oversight. Ability to identify and communicate status and risks as appropriate to management. Prepare and/or update reports and documentation. Troubleshoot technical problems on new and existing products. Identify areas for technical improvement. Willingness to travel as required. (10%) Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously. Ability and willingness to mentor others. Ability to refine or develop standards and procedures. Ability to create complex test plans. Understand customer operations and problems. Promote coordination with project teams. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience with 480vac power distribution. Experience with 24vdc systems. Experience with Profibus, ProfiNet, EtherCat, Ethernet. Experience with PLC and PC based control systems. Experience with motor control including VFD’s and Servo’s. Experience with schematic design. Proficiency with: ACAD, ACAD-electrical, MS Excel, Visual Basic, Oracle. 5-8 years of experience in material handling or other similar industrial/manufacturing automation fields.
