Requirements

  • Active Advanced Dental Therapist license in the state of Minnesota (required and in good standing)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills
  • Commitment to access-to-care and health equity initiatives
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for high-quality patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a private practice or community dental setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventive and restorative dental care within the Minnesota scope of practice for an Advanced Dental Therapist
  • Diagnose oral health conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with a supervising dentist
  • Deliver patient-centered education and promote oral health best practices
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Support a positive team culture through communication, professionalism, and collaboration
  • Participate in practice growth efforts and community outreach initiatives
