The Advanced Data Storage Device Physics Group within the Seagate Research Group (SRG) is responsible for conducting research on advanced data storage and memory technologies through experimentation and physics-based simulation. The work performed by this team directly informs the Company's ten-year storage product roadmap. About the role - you will: Apply AI/ML methodologies to accelerate materials-related research and extract insights from experimental or simulation data. Collaborate with engineers from diverse disciplinary backgrounds. Develop state-of-the-art AI/ML and data science solutions to optimize analytical workflows for complex datasets. Conduct literature reviews and propose novel machine learning architectures. About you: Passionate about materials science and data science.
