About The Position

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist PRN to join their team. This role involves performing drug procurement, packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distribution. The pharmacist will provide drug information and clinical services to health professionals and patients, supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and volunteers, and monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility. The position requires specialized skills and competencies to serve patients across various age groups, from neonatal to adolescent.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist in the State of Colorado.
• BCPS certification preferred.
• BCLS/ACLS required through AHA or ARC.
• B.S. or Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy; Graduate of an accredited residency program preferred.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience required.
• Previous management/project management experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform drug procurement, drug packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distribution.
• Provide drug information and clinical service to health professionals and patients.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, Students, and Volunteers.
• Monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility.
• Provide services requiring specialized skills and/or age-specific competencies.
