We are seeking a(an) Advanced Clinical Pharmacist Peds for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The advanced clinical pharmacist practices the profession of pharmacy with the utmost code of ethics demonstrating the organization's mission and values. The clinical pharmacist is responsible for the safe, effective, evidence-based, and cost-effective selection and utilization of medications for the patients in which they serve. The clinical pharmacist uses advanced knowledge, skills, and professional judgment in all aspects of his or her work. The clinical pharmacist serves as a patient advocate when planning and implementing pharmaceutical care within a multidisciplinary rounding team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a knowledgeable and professional manner. In addition, the advanced clinical pharmacist is expected to lead pharmacy services within the hospital by serving or chairing hospital committees, presenting at conferences and contributing to publications, and providing regular, formal education to pharmacy and interdisciplinary teams. The advanced clinical pharmacist is responsible for one or more specialty services within the hospital, such as infectious disease (ID), critical care, and pediatrics, among others. Adherence to all regulatory and medication safety guidelines are at the forefront of all actions and decisions made within the practice of the clinical pharmacist.

Requirements

  • B.S or Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy.
  • Graduate of an accredited PGY-1 residency program.
  • Maintains current pharmacist licensure and board certification.
  • Certifications in specialties as determined by facility needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an accredited PGY-2 residency program.
  • Five years inpatient hospital experience.
  • Three years HCA inpatient hospital experience.

Responsibilities
