High School graduate or equivalent preferred. · Minimum of two years of related experience preferred. · Previous experience operating forklifts highly desirable. · Experience with PC based software, data entry and ORACLE desirable. · Experience with RF barcode scanning desired. · Effective interaction and communication skills, both verbal and written. · Able to perform a variety of functions associated with the preparation, receipt, inspection, storage, issue, shipment and movement of material with a high level of accuracy. · May operate forklift and/or other material handling equipment after successful completion of OSHA/Pearson training. · Plan and carry out necessary activities to meet established schedules, often in a fast-paced environment. · Coordinate, track and monitor the un-loading and/or loading of shipments. · Perform all duties in a safe manner, maintaining safety as highest priority. · Follow established inventory control policies and procedures, while maintaining high levels of accuracy in inventory record keeping. · May assist in the training of new and seasonal employees. · Demands include the ability to lift up to 65 pounds, push carts weighing up to 600 pounds and move pallets weighing up to 2,000 pounds with a pallet jack. · Position requires frequent periods of standing, bending, twisting and stooping, as well as walking while carrying a load.
