About The Position

The Advanced Application Engineer is responsible for providing high-level technical support and application expertise to customers and internal teams. This role bridges the gap between product development and customer implementation, ensuring that solutions are effectively integrated and optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related field).
  • 5+ years of experience in application engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse automation, material handling and industrial controls systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with simulation tools, CAD, or software development (e.g., Java, C#, C/C++, Python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept designs, software system commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
  • Support the sales team with pre-sales and post-sales technical activities.
  • Work closely with R&D and product management to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback.
  • Troubleshoot complex software application issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user guides, and training materials.
  • Lead or support the deployment and integration of advanced technologies in customer environments.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products.
