Program Details Duration: 10-week internship from May 18 – July 24, 2026 Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Work Environment: Hybrid – remote work from the state of North Carolina with onsite events at our Durham campus Residency Requirement: Interns must reside in the state of North Carolina for the duration of the program Experience: Hands-on project work that supports our customers and strengthens communities across North Carolina Mentorship: Interns are paired with a mentor and receive regular feedback to support their development What You’ll Do Our team partners with Communications, Brand, Healthcare, Marketing, and Corporate Social Responsibility to help leaders make data driven decisions. We provide strategic consultation, data science and AI/ML, evaluation, and pilot design to solve real business and community challenges. Our work spans problem definition through execution, translating complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations that drive impact. Example: Join the CMCSR Analytics team where we focus on providing data driven insights and analytic solutions. As an intern, you’ll support Communications, Marketing, Healthcare and Corporate Social Responsibility, gaining exposure to advanced analytics and statistical concepts. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to work that drives real change in healthcare.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree seeking academic program, ideally in Data Analytics or Data Science
  • Strong curiosity, drive, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Interns must reside in the state of North Carolina for the duration of the program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL and Python
  • Prior internship or project experience in Data Analytics
  • Familiarity with data based decision making
  • Passion for making an impactful difference in our communities
