About The Position

Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with expertise in gastroenterological conditions and liver disease. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic and treatment options for a wide range of GI disorders, providing exceptional care to patients while collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team. The team currently provides outreach services at our Maryville facility 1 day per month.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree
• Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
• Ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
• Extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and members of the health care team

Nice To Haves

• Possess a Document of Recognition
• Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location
• Currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Consulting and diagnosing patients in clinic and/or inpatient settings
• Providing patient education and ongoing care management
• Working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with strong physician support
• Participating in inpatient call rotation 1 week per month with no holidays or weekends
• Managing an established patient practice
