About The Position

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expert Cardiothoracic Surgery team at our St. Joseph facility. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to grow a strong clinic practice under close, collaborative physician oversight, focusing on cases such as stable aneurysms and pulmonary nodules.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree.
• Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Ability to work independently and interdependently with other health care professionals.
• Extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to read X-rays.

Nice To Haves

• ICU or Cardiac Step-down experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre- and post-operative care of patients in cardiothoracic surgery.
