This position would provide top-of-license clinical management to Osteoporosis, but may also support Hyperlipidemia, Primary Care or Neurology. Understanding that the treatment of diseases extends beyond just medications, we focus on lifestyle and prevention counseling, in addition to the pharmacologic aspects of care. The aim is to get to know what is important to our patients, define a set of goals, and work together to achieve those goals and enhance a person's overall quality of life. Scripps Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services collaborate with physician specialists to assist with improving the long-term health and quality of life of our patients. The Advance Practice Pharmacist is key to providing care as it relates to patient medication needs.
