About The Position

This position is a federal role located in Harlem, MT, with an open application period from April 15, 2024, to January 31, 2025. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties of the position. This includes both paid and unpaid experience, such as volunteer work through National Service programs like the Peace Corps or AmeriCorps. Applicants will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part-time work. It is essential to clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held, along with the total number of hours worked per week.

Requirements

• One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in either the public or private sector.
• One (1) full year of graduate education in a field directly related to the work of this position.
• A combination of education and specialized experience as described above.
• Professional knowledge of Emergency Medical Services as evidenced by the National Registry certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify and treat trauma/medical emergencies using advanced knowledge and skill in emergency medicine techniques.
• Recognize signs and symptoms of life-threatening and non-life-threatening medical trauma injuries.
