Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 3-5 years of experience in mining, heavy equipment, and electrical background.
• Demonstrated safety-conscious approach to work.
• Ability to operate independently and in small multi-discipline teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Mining industry experience is an asset.
• Electrical Journeyperson Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake preventative maintenance tasks and new installations across mine sites and facilities.
• Maintain and ensure the mechanical integrity of electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform installation and maintenance of various size pumps and motors used in the production process.
• Diagnose problems and recommend solutions independently.
• Plan and organize jobs to completion.
• Operate discrete operations as part of larger process flow.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and influence good team membership skills.
