Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience.
  • Active or obtainable Secret DoD Security Clearance (must be acquired within a reasonable timeframe).
  • 3+ years of experience in Configuration Management or Change Control in development and manufacturing environments.
  • Deep understanding of DOD and industry CM standards, including both hardware and software domains.
  • Demonstrated experience with: Change control boards and comment adjudication
  • CM audits and lifecycle assessments
  • Managing baselines and product configurations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, and Product Data Management (PDM) applications.
  • On-site presence may be required based on program needs.

  • Cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to coordinate process controls across disciplines.
  • Familiarity with government/military documentation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Engineering Change Notice (ECN) systems to support new product development, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate change control processes across engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams.
  • Review and verify design release documentation for configuration identification, completeness, and authorization compliance.
  • Support and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and change approval workflows.
  • Conduct and support Configuration Management (CM) audits for process integrity and compliance.
  • Assess and refine CM policies, procedures, and service effectiveness across product lifecycles.
  • Manage and maintain product and allocated baselines for hardware and software configurations.
  • Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) tools, Jira, and MS Office to track and report CM activities.
