Under the direction and supervision of the Workforce Development Coordinator, the Adult Program Apprentice position will participate in up to 360 hour apprenticeship. The Adult Program Apprentice who will be 18 or older will be placed in a learning and supportive role within departments in the Kenaitze Indian Tribe or with external partner organizations and will be actively working towards college, career, or technical education goals. Placements offer an educational experience, opportunities to build on the job skills, career readiness, and gain exposure to the Kenaitze Indian Tribe's services and operational processes. The Adult Program Apprentice will work hours that accommodate their placement needs and help meet their personal goals. In addition, they will attend workshops and learning opportunities through the workforce development program that augment their educational and employment goals. It is the intent of this job description to highlight the essential functions of the position; however, it is not an all-inclusive list.
