Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Adult Outpatient Services (AOP), the Program Coordinator of AOP provides supervision and oversight of clinicians and care managers.  This position will assist the manager with program development, oversight, and daily operations of Jefferson Center AOP.

Requirements

  • Licensure in Colorado as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or comparable license
  • Four or more years’ comparable experience or training, including direct work with clients
  • Experience working with adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns
  • Knowledge of Recovery-Based, Stages-of-Change, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and other various evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally informed treatment modalities.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years’ experience in supervising or supporting staff or teams in a mental health setting
  • Addiction counseling certification or licensure
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Carry a small caseload of ongoing clients, providing direct care services and monitoring as needed. Coordinator may also be required to facilitate DBT Skills Groups.
  • Provide direction and supportive, clinical supervision to the outpatient clinicians on the Adult Outpatient Team, including supervision for licensure, group supervision and for Internship requirements as assigned by the Manager.
  • Process internal referrals to the team and manage caseload assignments/reassignments; consult with partners across the agency and the larger community on potential referrals.
  • Monitor Jefferson Center benchmark expectations (55% productivity) and documentation standards (timely completion of paperwork, notes, and training). Coaches and directs clinicians on implementing strategies to reach performance measurement benchmarks.
  • Supervise clinicians and provide consultation (including those who are not direct reports) on high-risk cases and make appropriate referrals to higher levels of care.
  • Review and approve clinical records and treatment plans. Create workflows around paperwork completion and Center initiatives and support team in following them.
  • Participate in measurement-based care, committees, and other initiatives across the center as needed.
  • Attend supervision at times and intervals agreed upon with supervisor and arrive prepared with an agenda; use this time to discuss clients as well as supervision of supervision.
