Mental Health Counselor – Full Time - PHP Location: High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA Salary: 53,000-55,000 a year High Focus Centers, a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania, is excited to deliver individualized, evidence-based care through our specialized programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope! We proudly serve both adults and adolescents, addressing mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorders in structured, supportive environments. We are currently on the lookout for a Full-Time Adult Counselor to join our vibrant Lansdale team, working with clients in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for mental health. This is a fantastic daytime role, Monday–Friday, with a consistent schedule! Position Overview The Adult Counselor will provide essential clinical services to adult clients (ages 18+) participating in our PHP level of care. Your role will include leading engaging group therapy sessions, conducting individual sessions, completing assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each client’s treatment goals.

  • Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions focusing on emotional regulation, coping skills, and recovery-focused topics.
  • Provide individual therapy to clients as clinically appropriate.
  • Complete intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level-of-care recommendations.
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress.
  • Collaborate with families (when appropriate), referral sources, and internal team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and program standards.
  • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Support program objectives and uphold a therapeutic, client-centered environment.
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Completion of a clinically focused internship or practicum.
  • Experience working with adults in PHP, IOP, or other higher-level care settings.
  • Familiarity with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
