The renowned Butler Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, is seeking an inpatient Psychiatrist for our intensive and general treatment Unit. The Intensive and General Treatment Unit provides care and support for adults with psychiatric conditions such as major depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Opportunity Highlights include inpatient focused on a 26-bed unit, an average of 10 patients per day, and a Monday through Friday daytime work schedule with rotational weekend and Holiday call. There is also teaching/academic time available with Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows (if desired). The position allows for collaboration with 2 Psychiatrists and support from Registered Nurses, Internal Medicine MDs (if needed), and other great resources on the Butler Hospital Campus. The role is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness and offers visa sponsorship.
