Requirements

  • Two years of professional level experience for Senior Level.
  • Three years of professional level experience for Principal Level.

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with university software applications such as m-Fin, CU Marketplace, and Concur.
  • Experience in pre- and post-award contracts and grant administration in an academic setting.
  • Experience working in Revenue Cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring programs and projects, including grants and contracts, are fiscally sound and adhere to Federal and University policies.
  • Manage fiscal reporting activities for the Department, including revenue, expense, and balance sheet transactions.
  • Monitor program and contract/grant budgets and assist in fiscal and progress reporting to funding agencies.
  • Manage resources and activities within the University system, including fiscal and budget management, procurement, and grant administration.
  • Maintain internal grant/contract submission and award tracking spreadsheets, invoicing when appropriate.
  • Support and grow the Department's Revenue Cycle processes, including mapping and outreach to external partners.
  • Maintain monthly and annual financial cost reporting requirements and accrual processes.
