About The Position

The Adult English Language Learner Teacher is responsible for developing, coordinating, and providing English language learning opportunities for parents and families within the West Des Moines Community School District. This part-time position focuses on enhancing the English language skills of adult learners to support their integration and participation in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching English as a second language or adult education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
