Adult Education is a comprehensive program of free classes for adult students who need to learn English and improve their basic literacy skills, obtain a High School Diploma (GED) certificate, prepare for the citizenship test, or gain the knowledge needed for transition to college and career pathways. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE An Adult Educator - Language Arts works a part-time schedule and is responsible for providing instruction in Language Arts to students enrolled in the Adult Education program. The position requires a passion for teaching and learning and utilization of highly effective teaching strategies that meet students' diverse needs. Performs related duties as required.
