About The Position
The Adult Education Teacher reports directly to the ABE or ELL Instructional Coach. He/She will work with adult learners, sixteen years of age or older, and responsibilities include planning and executing lessons for classrooms, performing daily record keeping, managing student information (digital and hard copies), and communicating and collaborating with other staff members including aides, office staff, teachers, district/site personnel, and adult education professionals. The teacher is also expected to attend regular and recommended professional development, provide general classroom assistance including working with students as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
