About The Position

The Adult Day Center (ADC) Manager will oversee the operations of the Adult Day Center, ensuring the delivery of quality care and support to clients. This role involves managing staff, conducting health assessments, and coordinating care plans while promoting the mission and vision of Licking County Aging Partners (LCAP). The manager will also be responsible for compliance with regulations and fostering relationships with community resources.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Ohio license preferred or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid Ohio license required.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to promote a positive work culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in managing an adult day center or similar facility.
• Knowledge of community resources for aging individuals.
• Skills in data tracking and report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Adult Day Center and supervise ADC personnel.
• Conduct intake assessments, health screenings, and routine basic health care for clients.
• Monitor clients' medication reactions and assist with personal care needs.
• Facilitate the completion of Physician Treatment Plans and coordinate health needs with families and healthcare providers.
• Prepare reports and maintain client medical records, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
• Provide training for ADC staff and clients in health-related areas as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing ADC operations and staff education requirements.
• Cultivate relationships with community organizations to enhance service offerings.
