About The Position

Clarvida is seeking Peer Support Specialists to join their integrated treatment team at the Adult Behavioral Health Community Crisis Center. In this role, the specialist will use their lived experience to support adults experiencing an acute mental health crisis, encouraging hope, resilience, wellness, and self-advocacy. Peer Support Specialists are crucial in helping individuals stabilize and begin their recovery journey in a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Idaho Peer Support Specialist Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with ID DHW

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-based support to adults experiencing behavioral health crises
• Use lived experience to promote hope, recovery, and self-advocacy
• Encourage development of coping skills and crisis stabilization
• Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary crisis team
• Maintain documentation and contribute to a therapeutic environment
