About the position
The ADRC Program Aide is a part-time position within the Chippewa County Aging and Disability Resource Center Nutrition Program. The role primarily involves assisting in meal packaging and delivery, providing information about available resources, and ensuring efficient service to the community. The position requires travel and is scheduled for Monday to Friday, approximately 7:45 am to 1:30 pm, every other week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the packaging of meals for home delivery at the central kitchen
- Deliver bulk food and packaged meals to Senior Dining site(s)
- Assist consumers in learning about other resources available through the ADRC
- Provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public
- Travel in all types of weather conditions and changing temperatures
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- One (1) year of related work experience required
- Ability to lift or move 30-60 pounds on a daily basis required
- Experience in utilizing online mapping systems and knowledge of Chippewa County roads, streets, landmarks, etc. required
- Cell phone required
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required
Nice-to-haves
- Foodservice experience preferred
- Must complete the 'Serving Safe Food' training program and secure certification within 90 days of hire
