About The Position

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community, ensuring that residents' healthcare needs are met with respect and dignity. You will oversee the quality of care and service delivery throughout all shifts, which may require you to step into the role of a Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide as needed. Additionally, you will supervise community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education. You will also manage associates' schedules and oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication administration in the community. Periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits will be part of your responsibilities, along with sharing on-call duties as required.

Requirements

  • Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
  • LPN or LVN license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing training and education to Caregivers, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training.
  • Manage associates' schedules.
  • Oversee continuity and consistency of medication training and pharmacy management.
  • Conduct periodic Care Associate medication skills inventory checks and medication audits.
  • Share on-call duties as required.
